This document maps every architectural layer of the Foundation platform to the specific sections, concepts, and execution stages defined in the Polynodal Innovation white paper (Ibex, Sep 2025). The purpose is to show that Foundation is the technology stack that makes Polynodal operational.
The Polynodal white paper defines what corporations must do: rewire growth by connecting to the venture economy through nine primary nodes, six strategic transformation levers, and a three-stage execution framework (Basecamp, Climb, Summit). Foundation defines how that system runs: what senses the venture economy, what stores the strategic memory, what scores and ranks external options, what governs the boundary between internal and external cognition, and what gives operators real-time visibility into portfolio state.

Basecamp lives in the strategic layer. This is where the growth thesis, growth zones, constraints, open questions, and contradictions are held. In Foundation terms, that is Strategy Twin. The Climb is the sensing and qualification loop. Scouts, crawlers, Foundation Media Intelligence, knowledge retrieval, and Partner Fit scoring turn noisy venture signals from all nine primary nodes into prioritised external options.
