Parametric claims — no forms, no waiting

The worst time to deal with bureaucracy is when something has gone wrong. In the Foundation Federation, many insurance interactions are replaced by autonomous parametric triggers — events that are verifiable on-chain — which automatically activate pre-agreed payouts.
Parametric Insurance Flow

1. Policy

Mika's travel insurance is a PACT Standing SOW: defined trigger events with pre-agreed payout amounts and a Midnight-anchored payment commitment.

2. Trigger

Foundation-ANA emits a flight cancellation event packet. The packet is Midnight-anchored. It is a verified fact, not a disputed claim.

3. Payout

Trigger conditions met. HTTP 402 fires in reverse. The insurer's agent pays Mika's Digital Twin's wallet automatically. Notification sent instantly.

Midnight Anchor: The trigger is a verified fact. The payout is a pre-agreed commitment. The policy, the trigger, and the settlement are all Midnight-anchored. Gaming the system is made harder by the immutability of the chain.
