The Four Scout Types
Scout Type 01
Web Scout
Monitors public web sources, news feeds, and open data. Returns verified summaries with source provenance anchored on Midnight.
Scout Type 02
API Scout
Queries structured data sources — financial feeds, regulatory databases, logistics APIs. Every response is timestamped and Midnight-anchored.
Scout Type 03
Federation Scout
Requests verified intelligence from other Foundation nodes in the Federation. Receives sealed proofs, not raw data.
Scout Type 04
Internal Scout
Monitors your own Digital Twin's knowledge store for contradictions, stale beliefs, and expired consents. Triggers automatic updates.
Midnight Anchor
Every Scout returns a Media Passport — a Midnight-anchored proof of what was found,
where it came from, and when it was verified. Intelligence without provenance is not intelligence.
